Our History

IN 1961, believing that it would be beneficial for United States citizens in Bermuda to get together from time to time, The American Society was organized by the late Col. F. Van Wyck Mason and a small group with the encouragement of the American Consulate.  With the closing of the USNAS in Bermuda, and the loss of an important American presence, The American Society strives to help to strengthen the capacity of Americans in Bermuda to have an impact.
